Otomys is a contemporary art gallery and consultancy which has grown steadily outward from its origins, shaped by an unwavering commitment to artistic excellence and a deep belief that art should do more than decorate… art should have a voice.
Rooted in a profound respect for artistic integrity and cultural nuance, Otomys operates a traditional gallery alongside a bespoke consulting practice, the two arms feeding and informing one another in a continuous conversation between making and placing, between artist and collector.
At the heart of the consultancy is a full-service approach that encompasses every stage of the art journey: curation, procurement, framing, logistics and installation. Nothing is left to chance. Directors Megan Dicks and Hannah Abbott bring substantial experience and a shared dynamic vision to every project, considering all elements surrounding the work - the light, the texture, the colour, the scale - so that each artwork finds its rightful place, in harmony with the space and with the collector's intended visual character.
The gallery's exhibition programme champions curatorial rigour and the artists it represents - an award-winning stable spanning Australian and international artists are presented with the same care and considered thought that guides the consultancy work. Each side of the gallery strengthens the other.
Over the years, Otomys has built a quietly growing reputation, trusted for its discretion, creative insight and timeless aesthetic. Private collectors, interior designers and architects return, commission after commission, drawn by an approach that is at once holistic, approachable and deeply personal. These relationships, nurtured over time, have become something more than professional - they have become partnerships grounded in shared values and mutual trust.
It is Otomys' enduring belief that art should not only elevate a space, but express identity and meaning. That belief is the constant from which everything else grows.
