Morgan Shimeld’s sculptural practice is deeply inspired by the work of Bronwyn Oliver. "Her ability to define and redefine form through copper wire was truly remarkable," Morgan shares. The meticulous attention to detail in her work left a lasting impression on him. He was fortunate to work with Oliver on several large-scale public sculptures before her passing. "She was always focused, positive, and dedicated," he recalls. Oliver's unwavering commitment to her craft continues to influence Morgan, guiding his own journey in exploring and reinterpreting form in sculpture.
