Congratulations to Greg Wood who has today been announced as a finalist in the 2024 John Leslie Art Prize.
Greg Wood was the 2022 winner of the John Leslie Art Prize. In 2024, a total of 403 entries were received for the national prize from all states of Australia and 52 paintings have been shortlisted. The finalists include works by leading and emerging Australian artists, covering various styles of contemporary landscape painting.

Finalists will compete for the $30,000 first prize, announced at Gippsland Art Gallery’s Spring Season Launch on Friday 6 September by Mayor Ian Bye. A second prize of $1,000 will be awarded for the Best Gippsland Work. The exhibition will run through until 24 November 2024.
