Inga Dalrymple selected as a finalist for the Mosman Art Prize

We are delighted to share that Inga Dalrymple has been selected as a finalist for the Mosman Art Prize, one of the most prestigious painting awards in the country.

Established in 1947, the Mosman Art Prize is Australia's oldest local government art award, a $70,000 acquisitive prize drawing hundreds of entries each year from established and emerging painters across the country.

Moving fluidly between landscape and still life, Inga's practice is defined by an ongoing conversation with the materiality of paint. In Night Saudade, a palette of teal, indigo and deep green wraps the scene in a hazy twilight — living up to the quiet longing of its title.

The 2026 finalists will be exhibited at Mosman Art Gallery, opening with a preview event on Thursday 20 August 2026.
